Default Spark plug confusion - 2007 H2

Hey Guys,

Trying to replace OEM spark plugs and wires. The coils are the square ones (Mitsu. Not the round Delphi).

GM Dealer said plugs for Hummer H2 2007 are 41-962 (19299585) when they punched in my VIN. Platinum.

They tell me that only 08-09 H2s take the 41-985.

But I just checked my owners manual for our 07 H2 Hummer, and they list the 41-985 (12571164) as OEM plug. Ditto for the shop manual.
And those originals were Iridium as far as I can tell.

I also read on the net that some guys changing from Iridium to Platinum experience problems, so just want to make sure.

So wanted to check with you if anyone can confirm what my 2007 H2 SUV should actually take as OEM replacement. Does anyone know?

I have not physically pulled a plug yet. Because I can not see to be able to pull the boots off, which have been on for 10 years. Any trick to that?

Anyone have a GM part # for the proper wires that go with the MITSU coils? Each coil type takes a different spark plug wire.

I've found now that GM dealerships give poor information on Hummers when you go to the service department for parts info. I used the 41-985 (12571164) plugs when I changed mine because that's what Lynch Hummer said I should use when I called their Hummer service department in 2010 for the information. As for coils and wires which I replaced last year, the local Chevy dealer here gave me the Chevy Suburban V8 2007 wires and coils.

No longer available from GM, according to the parts counter.

The 41-110 are substitute. Maybe.....
