Default OBD Code

Newbie here with a '99 ragtop H1....sweet truck so far but my TT4 and ABS lights just came on. I jumped the 5 and 14 pin on the ALDL and got a 2,6 reading. Can somebody tell me what that error code means?

And don't let me fool you. That last paragraph might be interpreted as me knowing something about my truck....WHICH I DON'T, lol.

I also plan on checking the sensor position on each hub (when I can figure out what the sensor is - I see the gear looking thingy).

If anybody has other ideas, I'm all ears!

Thanks for any help and great forum....glad to be aboard.

Shuttle Valve Switch Failure....

pins 25 and 27 should have a resistance value of around 3,000 ohms at rest, 2,000 ohms half way depressed and 1,000 ohms fully depressed. If the connections are correct.... then your modulator is bad....

Can I just buy a Land Rover Discovery modulator ($100 ebay used) and swap that out? That looks much easier than trying to replace the switch...

This site is awesome
