I just had my windshield repaired for a rock chip and would like to know what a good repair should look like.
Are the legs of the crack supposed to be visible from the inside after a repair? It's not noticeable from the outside but inside it is.
Thanks in advance

Two of our vehicles still had evidence of a repair job.

Just depends on how bad it is. My one and only spider is still very visible and it's located right in the line of site for the driver. If you're lucky, it almost disappears.... The whole purpose is to seal it so it doesn't get worse...

I've had 6-7 fixed on this windshield. Some can be seen, some can't. Depends on the way the glass fractured.

Are you guys using that store bought stuff to fix it or bringing it in to a shop??

I have one that is spidered inside and out. I used the store bought sealer. Not certain if it will work to seal.
