Took my H3 into the service center yesterday for the dreaded constant TPM warnings. They claimed the system wasn't calibrated correctly and that it was now fixed. Of course I was greeted with tire pressure warnings this morning and after work.
At this point I'm just curious if anyone has every had these problems fixed. Is there anything I can tell my dealer to help point them to the problem?

My dealer has told me the same thing and claimed that they have recalibrated a few H3s and that has resolved the problems with those rigs. They're going to do the same with mine the next time I bring it in for service. We'll see if it actually works.

I had to have mine recalibrated or "reflashed" yesterday. I went to the sand dunes last weekend and let the air down to 12 lbs and then pumped them back up aftwards and the low tire message was on. I work at a GMC dealership and used the new Kent Moore J-tool to reset the system several times and it would not reset. Finally I took it to my Hummer dealer and they fixed it in about half an hour while I waited and so far it has not come back on.

Mine comes on almost every time I drive, sometimes it goes off, sometimes not. The dealer has tried and failed to fix it. They are frustrated and have basically admitted the the H3 TPM system is crap.

Is the system crap or is the dealer technician under qualified for the repair. Seems to be, even on this forum, more H3s with systems that are working versus systems that are NOT working. In addition, this forum is a very (and I mean very) small sample of those owning Hummer H3s.
My dealer's service manager, two weeks ago, told me he had seen a few come in with the low pressure warning and one was a bad sensor, the remainder were low tire pressure in one or more tires. At this time, this is a joint service department that also services Buicks, and he was referencing all the vehicles that use this same system, including Buick.
So I ask, is the system crap, or is the dealer's technicians crap? (There is a technician on this board who mentioned in another thread a few weeks ago, he has never seen a system he cannot repair.)

I bought my H3 with 4 miles on it and put a new set of tires on at 400 miles and that is when my tpm started going off. I looked in the owners manuel and it said that you have to reset each sensor after rotating the tires something that simple will confuse the system. After I reset the tpm (details in manual) I havn't had a problem.

I took mine in to have a couple things fixed since i was gone for a while since I purchased it. I told them mine was going on and off randomly. Same as everyone elses is doing. They asured me they fixed it and as I sterted it up and was talking to the service rep, low and behold the TPM came on. His fexpression was the best. They again have assured me they will fix it. I bet him a steak dinner he couldnt. Man I am going to enjoy my steak dinner. The light came back on within 2 days LOL...
