Default tire + max+speed??

1. can anyone w/ 37" tires and no lift and no s-charger tell me if they can drive 90mph on highway. im thinking of buying 37 bfg MTs , but drive far on hiways and need 90 mph, or at least 85

2. can anyone who has moved the air hieght sensors explain/detail the move

3. does anyone have a part# for the air height sensor?

Thank you

I have 37s and 90 would not be good. I dont think the tire size is the issue, though. It has been wheeled pretty hard.

Alec will know the part number you seek.

I currently have the 37 MTR's, and often drive 85+. In addition, shortly after putting the 37's on we went on a 1800 mile road trip with speeds often in excess of 85, and had no problems....No lift, no SC, not nearly as much hard off road as the other posts.

Good balance and alignment will probably make the most difference.

I had seen posts re: breaking the height sensors if I run 37s, and i guess also tie rod end potentially(do you have that part# also?).

I wheel mostly to explore middle of desert nowhere, alone & w/family, and would prefer not to break parts

any idea tools nec to change tie rod in the field?

37 X 12.50 with air sensor is OK (airing down very low can hit the sensor)
37 X 13.50 will hit your sensors when you air down and are flexed a little more than the 12.50.

Rim width will also make a difference. The narrower the rim, the more sidewall bubbles out. The wider the rim, the less sidewall bubles out.

Also offset or your rim will make a diff.

You can run 37 12.50's on the stock rim and be fine.
