Default Armor-Dillo / TS-1 for Trim White haze trim fix

I need to touch up almost all of my plastic trim after Diamond Gloss treatment. It looks like white wax residue haze.

I tried:

Mr. Clean-- haze bled through when dry
Dawn-- haze bled through when dry
HummerSolutions-- worked well, but not sure if it should be used on trim

Armor-Dillo is OEM fix for avalanche owners body cladding. This will last for 3-6 months? I am tempted to go back to Ziebart and raise hell. I dont want them to touch the trim again.

Anything else better than above to restore to OEM.

Zeibart says to use WD40 to remove haze. I may have them try it. I will pick up Peanut oil. Does it last long.

Honestly, I've never used it, but we had a thread on it a while back dealing with wax residue.

I just searched for it, but got nothing.

Bondo's Back-to-black is supposedly a good item to restore the black trim with as well.

Sweet timing of this post. I was just going to ask this question because I've got that haze all over my trim.

I tried the Armor-Dillo several months ago and wouldn't use it again. It looked good at first but ater a month it looked like crap again. For me, it didn't work as advertised and too expensive for a 30 day treatment. (It took 4 packages to do my truck.)

3M Marine Vinyl Cleaner and Restorer - It's 7 or 8 dollars at Boaters world or Wal Mart. It does a great job through cleaning not adding greasy treatments. Just my 2 cents worth
