From what I've heard/read, there were 10 little kids paraded out in front of her and she chose which one she wanted. Sounds pretty much like slave trade to me.

But, slavery, I doubt Maybe kidnapping, but how can you call it slavery. It says nowhere that he's going to work for her. Believe me, I've been to her house, no little black children were working there.
Also, people who adopt children, are not buying children. I will admit the story is unusual and wouldn't of been possible it she isn't who she is, but right or wrong, adopting a child, should never be considered buyer a child.
