Hi partsguy
Mine is doing it intermently and I have no Air Raid cooler. I'm going to talk to dealer after weekend. It will hesitate and make a noise like it is hung in that gear at first and then briefly slows down shifts and takes off. It just started it a couple weeks ago and has done it only 2 times. Mine wants to do it on a firm acceleration or hard. If I'm just coasting along it shifts. I'm trying to remember but after thinking about it it seems to be at redline in that 3rd gear only. If anyone has ideas let us know. Come on Hummertech tell us what is happening.
Thanks for any help
TAZ (Rick)

partsguy, I had that problem pretty bad at WOT after I got my truck back. A reprogram is what was needed. Now it does it just a smidge. It could be caused by the aerodynamics of a barn going beyond 80mph. Let us know what you find out.

KenP are You suggesting uninstall tuner and reinstall or having programer reprogramed. I made a mistake in earlier post I do have cold air intake, had a huge brain fart. I forgot but I watched more closely this last time and it is redlining and then a little more in that gear only. No other gear go up that high on tach before shift so that gear has to be set back. I have not looked at the Proflash as You pick setting it says to stay with high perf. in all selection even though You can choose different options. If I could stay in High perf. on engine tune and chose a different setting for Trans. I may be able to solve it that way. But instructs say no. What has been your experience if You have run ProFlash which is now the Fast Flash Handheld.
Thanks Ken and partsguy
