What is up with pulling people out of bars to arrest them for being drunk in public. Just heard a little bit about it on a local radio show. Said that all around Texas the police are starting to go into bars and arrest people for being drunk. From what I heard this isn't just people that are being a problem, this is the police just showing up and grabbing people. Even going into hotel bars and arresting people. Said so far they have arrested 2,200 people this way.

It's not just TX...they are doing it in Cali too. Undercover cops in bars, then they call in the suspects to the cops waiting outside...

If taken out of a private building by force - you would have NO problem beating that case in court. Hell, a first year attorney could beat that case.

I can understand nailing drunk drivers, but there have been times when I was younger, that I did bounce off the walls on my way to the hotel room.
So, I guess it is better to stay home, get drunk, then clean my guns, then go to a bar and get drunk, and have a designated driver.
The police should be spending more time busting actual crime such as drug dealers, rapists, burglers, etc.
