well without the lift you could do a 37 " tire.. i think the nitto mud grapplers look the most aggressive.. but they are alittle noisey for alote of people i have them and i dont mind the sound... their also is the toyo mud tire which looks aggresive . and both you could still use with a lift.. rancho makes a nice 4 inch lift... i have a 6inch fabtech lift which i like alote. here it is with the 37 " nitto mudgrapplers

$10K for a lift? WTF!!!!

They are about $2.5K - $3K plus shipping and labor. Find a good offroad shop and stay away from the dealership.

If you have a lift and the tools it is possible to do the lift yourself, just be prepared to have the truck apart for the whole weekend. The rear lift is easy, the front is not.

Look at Rancho, Superlift and others for prices. I would think a 6" would be about perfect with 37s. That is my future plans as well.

Good Luck!!!!

Stock: don;t go any larger than a 37 12.50.

RANCHO "4"" KIT: It really is closer to 6". I run 37 13.50 17's with the Rancho lift and have just enough room to felx it all the way without contact.

Hi Guys sorry its that scottish blood or bad education lyft kits i stand corrected anyway those pics look great 4in is good with 37in fine i must say i fell over when he said the price ,,has anybody done this themselves is a bitch to do , i have gear to jack it up etc but some pointers might sway me to buy a kit state side and do this myself ,,however i want to make sure i have all the parts in play first .

thanx guys for the pics and help

ah the other thing is finding a company who will sell me the kit as most companies dont like dealing with folks over the pond
