Default Bad day after work

Doing okay Thanks to pain meds, but damn they screwed up my 60 mile a day daily driver :-(

The New Yorker tried to make a left hand turn in front of me and I t-boned their passenger side pretty good, needed the jaws of life to get the passenger out. They are okay and were cited for the improper left hand turn. The people in the town of Marion Ohio a freacking crazy at 3:30 pm

Just thought I'd share,

P.S. Look at my hood at the very front :-)

Wow - sorry to hear about your fender bender. That sucks! Glad to hear you're ok though.

What is that you were driving? A Dodge neon?? With an H2 emblem on the front end?

Thanks folks.

Yup, That is a H2 badge, took them off the truck sometime ago and after getting the Neon I thought that would be a good place for one

Joe (my son) bought a Neon SRT 4 a couple weeks back and sold ole dad his old 95 Neon for a daily driver for the 60 miles a day drive, was fun while it lasted. All in all it wasn't in bad shape for having 138,000 miles on it and after a few minor fixes it was getting me 32 mpg.

Funny thing, he let me drive the SRT 4 the day before, ring, ring, ring, Joe I just wrecked you SRT, opps, wait a minute that was yesterday you let me drive it

deserth3, it may buff out but can you buff the transaxle back into working condition

Looks like I'll be driving the H2 again to work which as much fun as it is some 'other" things in life are kinda holding Karen and I back for awhile and the Neon was a good bit of help.

Later Folks, time for the pain meds , Easy

Oh man Ed! That sucks, I'm glad you are okay.

Make sure you take it easy Easy.() Things are probably real tender and prone to more injury. That must have been scary.

Thanks Cp and audiofetish, I swear the meds help to make it "Easy" for ole Easy Ed to relax .

The officer kept asking me yesterday if I was wearing my seat belt cause there is a crack in the windshield and they were not sure where it came from. Well I got the proof on my neck now that I was wearing the seat belt, a nice bruise. Must have been my hand coming off the steering wheel cause it is pretty banged up. Found out this morning my rider is okay, he did go to the ER last night, he needed some motivation (brewskies) to get the nerve up. he is just going to be sore for a few days. Still waiting to hear from the other parties insurance company, could use a rental for awhile for the "fuel savings" I was getting outta the Neon till we get it all sorted out, oh well I got a H2 to drive til then

Time to go do some follow up work, thanks again "HUMMER family"

Ed

Glad you're ok, Easy Ed! That's what matters. That old New Yorker took a crunch for a heavy duty vehicle considering it was hit by a Neon.

Doing good, thanks for asking, no aches or pains due to the Vicoden. The only damage I got was around the neck from the seat belt and on the right arm from the air bag, that one is the worse My rider seems to have it worse off, the seat belt must have got his ribs and the air bag got him pretty good cause he threw his arms up before impact

Added three more pics, one is of the bruise on the neck and the wrap around my right arm (easy girls ) the second is the air bag "burn" and the third is a side view of the car.

Today will be spent dealing with insurance crap, step one, get rental that gets good MPG

SHirtless pics are always welcome here.

Ouch!

Glad you are comfortable at least.

I love how the old people brought out the lawn chairs to watch the commotion.

Thought you might like that shirtless pic CP

I didn't notice the folks watching on the side lines till you mentioned it, small town entertainment I guess.

Back at work today, well suppose to be, trying to get paperwork taken care of.

Later, Easy Ed
