if i get the helo maxx 8 with 4 and a half inch backspacing in size 17x9 can i run them with the stock bfg all terrains? and if i want to run 37x13.50r17 in the grappler or another tire will these rims still work with that kind of backspacing? i asked the tire dealer for this specific backspacing and he asked me- "why, do u want them to stick out or something? come to think of it i like the wide stance look but will those options mentioned above both work?

As the stock tire is a 17in diameter, the 17in wheel will fit. Im thinking the 13.50 should work on a 9in rim but you will more than likely have rubbing--may not hurt anything but it may rub. If you like a wide stance look you might want to consider a wide rim like a 17x10 or a 20x10

Much of this information has been discussed before and using the find button can be helpful. May take a little while, but through your searching you may also learn a little info that you didnt seek out. Good Luck.
