Rear License Plate Relocation Kit
I have a 05 H2 with the dealer installed tire carrier and the tire cover has my license plate attached to a huge advertisment for Independence Hummer. I want to remove the spare tire cover and relocate the license plate. Anybody seen any for a good price. Thanks ahead of time everyone

Re: Rear License Plate Relocation Kit
The first thing I would do would be to remove that billboard from the back of your truck. That steelership should be ashamed of themselves for putting such an eyesore on the back of their rigs. I really like the setup I have. I just mounted my plate to the trailer hitch, nothing to it. When I want to tow something it comes off easily by removing one pin......

I did not even bother to run a light to the license plate. In Louisiana they are not too strict about having a license plate light anyway.....

Re: Rear License Plate Relocation Kit
I would like to remove the rear spar tire mount as well, and use the lift gate location.
my plan is to have a surface mount system located just below the license plate .
I'm hoping I can relocate the light for the plate at the same time..... if anyone knows if I'll need some extras let me know..
OP... why didn't you end up removing the spare from the back?

Re: Rear License Plate Relocation Kit
I wanted to keep the spare but just move the license plate to the bumper so when I get my wheels in you can see the full 5th wheel. But still havent had the time or motivation to be honest. Ill probaly get it when Iget new wheels

Re: Rear License Plate Relocation Kit
to be honest with you id prob just take it to a body shop get the paint code and see if they can paint over the spare tire cover. or ever get it rhino lined then painted to match your rig. i hate the relo kit my stealership put on my truck... im still trying to figure out a way to make mine not look retarded and cheap
found a pic. i just need to get a spare to match the wheels and tires. but the tag where is it gets on my nerves. wife took it to a car wash (we already had a talk about that) and it folded my tag in half. its starting to get rusty and look like crap
