My a family member gave me their gm employee user name and password so I could register for the employee discount........I looked at it and it was asking for my ss # and my relationship to this person......I do not have any of the relations listed they are all immediate family listings.......this person is a aunt.......I then looked under GM in the driveway but it said it was not applicable for the H3......If i lie about my relationship will they catch or does it really matter.......do they really check these things......how could they figure it out???????

GMID and GMS are both offered for the H3. If you lie and it is audited, Auntie can get in trouble. usually just a loss of GMS for a year for first offense.

Is GMID usually accepted on orders? I'm not sure if I'll be able to find the correct mix of options at my local Hummer dealer. He did offer to accept the GMID. Once I get my financing (waiting for my Capital One "blank check"), I'll be headed back with GMID in hand. Curious if ordering was an option? Does anyone have any insight on how long orders normally take?
TIA
Chris

Some dealers might be more inclined to take GMID on orders since the don't have to pay the floor cost on the vehicle. Im not sure what the current build time is now. if you can't find one with the exact options you wan't ordering one is the way to go. I almost went that route unitl i found one that had all of the major oprtions I wanted on it

I ordered mine from Royal in Tucson with GMID. It was their first GMID order, but my salesguy was so incredibly easy to deal with. He said 6 - 8 weeks for delivery

Just picked up my new H3 with manual trans from Legends Hummer in Scottsdale. I think this was their first GMID order. Took about 4 weeks from order to delivery. It was a good experience.
Mileage for first 400 miles (95% highway at 75 mph on cruise = 16.9 mpg.

Yup, I purchased my Hummer with GMID as well. Saved a good chunk of change. It definitely helps if you can get it.
