I just picked up a 2-tier brushguard and need a couple pics of the mounting areas.
- A pic of the lower grill showing what I need to cut for the lower mounts.
- A pic so I can see what the spacers for the upper mounts look like.
Those two would help a ton. Thanks in advance!

Dear Dan,
While I suspect this is probably better placed in the Technical Discussion/Customizing portion of the site, I am happy to oblige, to the small extent that I am able.
Here is a photo of the spacers. Unfortuanely, I'm getting a little body repair thanks to a 5150 homeless fellow with a shopping cart. If no one posts pix of the side cuts on the lower grille before I get my truck bak, I will post some then.

Dan,
The bushings are 13/16ths inches long.
O.D. is 1"
I.D. is 1/2"
But any hole large enough to accept the 8mm bolt will do.
Until I got these, I used some "washers by the pound" from OSH (about $1.65). You will need a pair of lomger replacement bolts: M8 x 1.25 x 55 or 60mm. The original 40mm ones are too short to reach through the spacers.
Thats 8mm diamete, thread pitch of 1 1/4 t/mm, and a length of 55 or 60 milimeters. Hve fun & enjoy the new grilleguard.

I love it when the boys help each other out.
I need pics too, doesn't Frank6150 have one of those? Maybe he could stand next to it for scale and all. I heard he was pretty gifted when it comes to those sort of things.

Here's a side shot of the lower grille. Tin snips cut it like butter.

Dan,
Just did this last week, took multiple cuts on the depth as I couldn;t find much reference to it:
On my sample, here're the rough measurements:
I started the top horizontal cut approx 11/16" from the top, cut the horizontals 2.25" back to front, the vertical cut was 3".
Does it make sense?
