I started to watch it but he kept sniffing and I had to click it off. Does he get hurt?

You never check trap after the snap wait a minute or you will see the varment in agony.
I like the way the guy put paper under trap makes for easy cleanup.

The tie down is smart too...never know when you'll only get a WIA and have to track the blood trail.
