DRTY,
Other than the fact that your winch bumper looks cooler, and it DOES what are the differences between yours and the one from Warn?
Sean </div></BLOCKQUOTE>* NO DRILLING * 12,000lb winch vs Warn's 9000lb * NO DRILLING * oem look * NO DRILLING * heavier gauge steel * NO DRILLING * oh yeah, did I mention, NO DRILLING install?

Okay, okay, so it looks more OEM, has a heavier duty winch, uses better steel, etc. But how much drilling is required to install one?

I would suspect the answer would be yes.
The brush guard doesn't attach anywhere near the cut outs for the lamps and the vallance is a direct replacement for the stock one so why wouldn't it.
Contact Jason and ask. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Good point - I'll do that. It just states in the blurb, "SMA has designed a replacement valance for use with the Heavy Duty Brushguard." I would not be using the SMA Heavy Duty Brushguard, so it made me wonder if it would work.

Field Rat, I went with the Warn setup and I love it. As for having to drill 4 holes (if I remember correctly) I had no issues with that. As a matter of fact, it makes me feel a little better when using a snatch block knowing there are 12 fastening points as opposed to 8.
It's kind of hard to see how you get to the line in/line out lever with the drty setup. The lever on the 9.5k winch is mounted on the other side (driver side) and very accessible in the Warn setup. It would also be interesting to see how the remote plugs in on drtys setup as that is an "ease of operation" thing. As I recall he was going to use a Mile Marker Winch as well so that might be a personal preference thing, a difference none the less.
As for looks I would say drtys has Warn beat. It looks like his is actually made using the stock piece and modifying it.
Having said that, you seem to have a good point with regards to availability. When I was in the market for a winch bumper (a year or so ago it seems) the only one ready for market was the one Warn offered. Either way you go I doubt you can go wrong.
