Hehehe, figured, since I was up, would try and beat H2CP to the punch . Just finished watching Bloodsport and some killer bee movie. I love those cheesy 80's movies . Not much planned for today. Just meetings and hanging with family. Should probably get to bed now before I get suckered into watching Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah.
Good night/Good morning

The whole weekend was productive for us. Finished preparing the decorations on Saturday. Sunday spent the morning putting up the fence, scarecrow, tombstones and interior window pumpkins. I think we have scarred the devout Catholic kids up the street, they HATE Halloween and educate all of us on Halloween night with pamphlets. Everyone else loved it. And for some reason it has become a cat magnet for all the neighborhood cats. It does look cool to have live props in and around the fence.
Next door neighbor must have felt inadequate. She made a special trip to Wal Mart during our decorating marathon to get more decorations, amateur...Let the games begin!

I am so excited about my trip. I just can't tell you enough, I've been looking forward
to it for months.
She absolutely loved it, she wanted to stay when we did the little tour on Friday. She was so cute telling me everything she did, uh! love her.
She can't wait to go back, so that makes me feel good.

Also learned that the winch is an effective brush remover and mud scooper.

Don't know. Didn't go to Reno.
Elko, on the other hand, was pretty cool. Rod Hall was awesome!! Such a nice guy. The event was really fun. No technical crawling, but LOTS of dirt roads and some tight trails. I'll post pics later. Too much to catch up on now AND get ready for Moab.

Hey CP, maybe a Martha moment will cheer you up.
I'm making caramel apples today! 4 types - colored sprinkles, heath bits, nuts, and white/milk chocolate drizzled. I think I should have put them in the fridge quicker tho, there's like a 4" caramel mound under each apple now. Oh well. Still edible.
We finished our Halloween fence today, yay! Now I have to spray paint it black sometime this week. Here's a section:
This Halloween is gonna blow the pants off last years setup.

Rodster OMG, how are you going to get all that stuff out of the little winch rope thingy.
Looks like you had fun though.
I just realized why my belly hurts, not toots or anything. And now I feel like hurling.
My little beauty was on a waiting list for this awesome pre-school and I found out Friday that she will be starting this morning. It is everything you would expect a perfect little pre-school to be.
Which is great all around but I will miss my beautiful, soft and sweet little sidekick.
I don't know what I am going to do during the day. I know I will have more time to do housework and get some home "work" done but I will miss her terribly. But, it's only half day, just for the 'school' part, it's mainly for socialization at this point anyway. So I guess it is just nerves and excitement for her. The butterflies in my tummy have teeth, I guess.
Sorry for my rant, but no-one else is up.

That is sooo cool that she likes it that much. It is always hard when they don't want to go or don't want you to go when dropping off in the morning.
Make sure we all get daily, if not hourly, updated on the trips
