I just got my new H3 Auto last Thurs. I noticed a little pull to the left, but the wind and weather has been bad in upstate NY. Well, 6 days later and the weather is better and it still pulls to the left. I called the dealer and they want me to bring it in. I think it just needs to be aligned, but has anyone else had this problem and does any suspect it will be a recurring issue?

Finally got to the dealer today and they found the camber(?spelling) was out of spec. They fixed it and it seemed to ride better going home although it was very windy up here in NY.

Kinda off topic but can someone explain how these trucks stay fairly well aligned with all we do to them offroad, when you rub a curb wrong in a passenger car and knock out the alignment? Just curious. Are they set up different?

After receiving my H3 in Nov 05, I noticed it was pulling slightly to the right. Within a month and a little over 500 miles, brought it to the dealership and they did a alignment. Since the alignment and now over 3600 miles, haven't had any problems.

They don't have to wait for 500 miles, it just means they don't want to call and get WINS approval.
WINS (GM's Warranty Division), capped new car alignments to stop dealers from charging alignments on every vehicle that comes into stock, whether or not it need or they even did an alignment.
However, if the dealer does receive a vehicle that is not aligned properly, they can get approval and do the alignment prior to delivery. In fact, the dealer should do this.

And how well do they hold the alignment after having some fun?

Wonder if they will do a free alignment for me now that I changed the tires.

Mine goes straight as if it were on tracks 8,500 miles.
