Howdy!

Can anyone shed some light on the rather limited (6500#) towing capacity? I read in Powerboat"s roadtest that they pulled a 8000# boat/trailer. Is this a GVWC issue or the result of the braking distances? I'd like to pull my racecar but even with an aluminum trailer I' pushing 9000#. Thanks for any insight.

I have a 34' 2001 BAJA and the H2 has no problem pulling it. It sits on a tri-axle trailer with surge brakes. The load leveling helps a great deal. The boat and trailer are pushing 11,000 lbs.

Just for your reference.
