Default Coverking Seat Covers?

Anybody have any experience with them? I'm looking for a way to give my distressed leather a fresh look.

I was looking at the leatherette specifically. The price looks good. Any other complaints besides being a bear to install? I'm worried they'll look like cheap seat covers after being installed.

www.coverking.com. I kinda like the 2 tone grey/black, but I'm worried I might get sick of them over time.

I ordered mine thru AutoBarn. Still have not received them. Been about 4 weeks. They said that they were on the way. I got the black/gray to match the interior. Will let you know.

The only problem you will run into is the front seat heaters. On the OEM covers, the heating filaments are IN the covers themselves, just for the Front covers. You will have to either get OEM replacement covers or a whole new seat heater system for the front seats!!

HummBob

I have the answer for getting the seats heating for new covers. Dragon and I had to solve that with Katskin sponsored stuff. We discovered also the heaters are made into the leather on OEM covers. You can use the heating
elements from a Silverado and I have the part numbers at Dragon's shop. Someone may want to PM Dragon for numbers. We only did the front seats because the guy who use to work for Dragon built the rear seat console so that it covered the controls to the heaters that are on back of front seat console. We will correct it later but, the guy had the thing built painted piano black and heavily clear coated before I walked up haven been gone and asked how are we going to turn rear captain heaters on and use the rear sound features and head set connectons. I got elements for rear as well. They come sealed and you just have to attache them in place while new cover is put on. Give me a day to get them on the forum if no one wants to Pm Dragon. Someone may be able to find out the numbers. I forget what year model the guy we had install the new covers told me they were off of. Price was not bad at all. I was thinking allot of money being OEM heaters. I'm not where I can get info right now.

I got put in hospital morning 11/7/07 for a runaway heart rate when they tried to do the EP Study with Abalation. It got so bad they had to shock my heart to get the rythim back. tower they put me on Tikosyn and Cumaden (spelling?) a blood thinner. I just passed a stress test with flying colors last week but, we suspected the rythim problem as was the reason for doing EP Study. It suprised all I think. I do not remember anything but, was told I was immediately heavily sedated before shocking me.

Now I have GI having to scope me for anything funny in GI tract. Hematologist wanting it done before he will OK blood thinner because of all the of GI bleeding during 2001-2003 etc.etc. by all Docs in line.

I feel better now than past 6 months after being on the Tikosyn with it regulating my heart rate now. I'm getting so much more oxygen uptake now it is unreal. It may not be for everyone but, I really say check it out if you are having heart rythim problems.

Thanks to those that knew I was going for this and have emailed me. I know things will be just fine. It was just a little spooky.
