Default Newbie

Hey guys, new to the forum. I'm thinking about buying either a H2 or a Jeep. I can't determine which one. I've heard a lot of great things from both. If I bought an H2 for the price -I'd hate to go off roading with it. It seems like you can buy a cheap Jeep and put a ton of parts on it for what you can buy an H2 for. Jeeps are also uncomfortable and bumpy rides. What are the pro's and cons?

The pro's are if you get an H2 you won't have to change your user name.

LOl, true

I've always loved H2's, I'm just thinking practicality.

Wranglers get crappy mileage (proportionally worse than H2). Thats not really practicle at all...

I'm also considering a Land Rover. My dad pretty much said I can pick whatever I want, its going to be a graduation present. I'm just looking for something that I can occasionally go off road in and not break anything.

My friend has a Jeep and he is always breaking something.

Jeeps are like that sometimes, but it's usually due to poor driving skills or some n00b making a poor deciison when he orderd it.

If love the Starbucks drive through, you might just want to cosider that LandRover.

Two completely different rigs: Hummer is luxurious, Jeep (I'm assuming your talking Wrangler) is a tin can on wheels. Both are capable off-road (some more than others). It comes down to what you like.

Judging by your user name, I think you've made the right decision!
