Hey Gang:
I added a cheap fix to the rear bumper letters falling off, problem.
I bought a sheet of 3m reflective paper and painstakingly cut the letters out to fit.
I may go back and see if they carry the red reflective paper, or maybe orange...that would look cool.
I also cut out the letters for the roof rack rail end caps. What a bigger pain, as they are so tiny....but, that looks great as well.
Now, if we could just get someone to make an inexpensive lettering template.

If someone knows the font and typeface for the HUMMER logo, I can have it die cut for way cheap...Something like $5-8 for the whole kit...any color you want too.

One of my venders makes custom emblems that are not decals but they are domed emblems that fit both the rear and the rack. They are available in many different colors and looks from chrome to brushed alum. to brake light red etc.
The emblems they make for the Corvette indents are licensed by GM. I have some examples on my web site www.automotiveupgrades.com/
listed Custom Emblems.
Any questions-let me know. Ben

You are all just too funny!!!
David: Thanks for the offer...we may take you up on it if we can figure this one out. I tried to pull various Hummer letters/logos off-line and stretch them to fit the bumper letters...just no luck as the whole letter just wouldn't fit..too thick here too short there, etc.
I have yet to see anyone post the font/typeface of the bumper letters or the roof rack rail end letters. Yhat would be ideal.
I am working with a "sign/graphics guy" on having my templates massaged to be good enough to use as a die to punch out letters.
You are on my wave length as far as doing it cheap and having it look good.
BTW, thanks for your past efforts on the DRL wiring/jumper...mine has worked great ever since.
Dennis: Are you offering?
"Frugal Hummer Guy????? Is that what they call an OXYMORON?"
That's funny Dennis! But that's a pretty right-on observation by Joyce...and Phil..he has way more free time than I do!!!
Joyce: Thanks fopr the rescue from the "Wrath of Phil"....it's all in good fun though!
