First off, in the past, when I've been pulled over I pull over immediately, turn off my vehicle, roll my window down and place my hands on the top of the steering wheel. Why, you ask? Because I want the officer to feel at ease so that my chances of skating out of a ticket might possibly go up. I DON'T keep driving until I feel like stopping, I DON'T get on the phone and refuse to get off, and most importantly, I DO WHAT THE OFFICER SAYS SO I DON"T GET TASERED!!!!
And with that I bring you this fine Tasering video:
http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/co...r_video3a.html

I love it.

Well this is all been very interesting. My conclusion has now become quite clear. I'm so happy I live where I do. There is an unwritten rule that if Your licensed and the longer You have been, which means You have retested by shooting skill which gets harder every time, You will most likely get a pass when you shoot to kill if situation requires it. I know, sounds to good to be true and possibly over the top but, the benefit of living in a backward part of the world considered by allot but, not myself. It is as forward thinking as I make My little world be. I'm basing My decision to most deffinetly use deadly force so that i will not inhumanely treat a person with pepper spray or taser. I do not want them to suffer anymore than a poor dog I accidently hit and have to put out of it's misery. So the best thing left it appears is to just place the laser on the 40 S&W Glock at the most convenient or visible target on the head and place the slug there. As mentioned above in another post no pain, no witness, and no law suit for causing undue stress and pain.
Our local sheriff is quite liberal especially in a home invasion situation. He says just shoot threw the door as many times as fast as You can, instructing My daughters in particular when home alone, and once all the yelling and screaming stops look out the door and see if they are gone or laying on the ground. Watch them for 30 minutes and see if they move if not drag them in the door and call the sheriff, if in the time before He arrives they start moving they are trying to attempt to hurt You so shoot them again but, aim for the head. No problems open and shut case of self-defense. Oh, they both know how to use My mini-14 with 30 round clip and have been trained exstensively with weapons, My youngest loves to deer hunt with me with her break over Englander youth .223 softpoint with scope etc. and has been through hunter education class that i went through it with her so she would feel better about it. Plus you have to have it to hunt in Colorado for mule deer and elk. I like to go to Rifle, Colorado. She scored perfect and non of the little boys did and she hurt their feelings. It was funny at the time she was 12 and when the little boys and older boys asked her how she could do so well she just said I studied real hard and practiced allot with my Dad. Sad to see them just look at the ground and walk away. She was the same way with her 3D archery competions. When We pulled up the little boys would get mad and cry because they knew that day they would not win because Erin was there. They would be 12 and 14 with her starting out at 10 still kicking tail because she practiced by making Me take a deer target and move it around all after noon so she did not know how far away it was and she learned to judge distance. Well sorry for the side bar but, they keep the rutger 22 with a 50 round clip and CCI hollow point stingers. This .22 bullet unless any better now has the fastest muzzle velocity out. Phil may be able to update that though. I just know that I had been using the top Remington for turtle and snake shooting and switched to stingers because the local coop had started carrying them for the minnow farmers. I had to resight the gun because they shot so high which means more speed and flat trajectory. Well thanks all for the discussion and firm You have been a service even when You had not intended to be. So thanks for reafirming a plan of action I had been conteplating for awhile. Oh, do not get Me wrong I will not be running out and finding reasons to implement this idea but, just helps to know that i should consider the pain and suffering of the perp and just end it for them so they are not crippled or inconvinenced by such terrible things as a taser and pepper. Oh and I have had the experience of both on a dare so I can say at least to the perp "I feel Your pain", where have I heard that before? This way i will not feel guilty about dealing with them in a way that they will not feel pain ever again.

Oppps! My bad. I seem to have refered my Stun gun as a Tazer which are two different things.
It's a common mistake. Thanks Mully.

timgco- Watch the video again, the lady never swung at the officer.

Paragon- You sorry sack of ****, I have been in law enforcement. I've experience the taser, and pepper spray. While neither are pleasant, there are circumstances for the use both. This was not one of them; I'm willing to bet if you follow the story his superiors will agree. He probably won't be reprimanded, but there will be changes in protocol.

By the way, non-compliance is the circumstance for the use of non-lethal force, idiot.

Tower~

"The All-in-One Stun and Stim. This is a real beauty and shows that electronics developers and engineers have really been paying attention to consumer wants. Based on the old taser or stun-gun, this purse-sized model can be used on reluctant hubbies, penile-dysfunctional lovers, or just some likely hunk you pass on the street. It emits a micro-fine dart that delivers a powerful stunning electrical charge while simultaneously shooting out a laser-guided nano-needle which delivers a super-charged dose of Viagra for instant and long-lasting erections. Suggested retail is about $28 (see eBay for discounted prices)."

...I'm sure there's some potential here...

Mully,

Did you belong to the CDFD????

A hand held Tazer is better for Co-pilot. Using pepper spray in close quarters might/will hurt her along with the assailant. The Tazer gun also requires a target standing still. Not so accurate.

Hand helds will allow you to even bear hug an assailant where you can pump the juice into his backside. Trust me, it's surefire!

Stand clear though, Tazers will cause the assailant to lose ALL bodily functions. EWWWW!

Here's the rest of the blog:

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">Fjordman wonders why authorities in Sweden and Norway refuse to draw any connection between a rising immigrant population and an increase in rape and violent crime.

Perhaps it would be just too politically incorrect to reveal the negative effects of decades of naïve immigration policies. Perhaps it would also destroy too many multicultural pipe dreams among the intellectual elites, who have built their current careers and reputations on advocating how culturally and economically enriching this new population mix would be.

The Dutch began addressing the problem in their country after the murder of Theo van Gogh. I wonder what it will take in Sweden and Norway. Or maybe this is all just a huge coincidence... </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

No, ****! I didn't know you were an M.O.T.! I have a little background in Krav Maga. When the Chief Safardic Rabbai of Israel (kind of like the Jewish equivalent of the pope, without all the pomp) came to visit L.A., he had 3 body guards. I was one of them.
