To summerize it for you its aparent you have not fed the chipmunks on the left side in over a week...

Re: rattle from the drivers side
The driver's side squeak is well known, but a rattle? The squeak is caused by the emergency brake cable rubbing between the body and frame.
But it could be the body mounts. Soon after I bought mine, the front end made a creaking and thunking sound during turns, especially over dips in the road.
Took it in - tightened mounts - problem solved.

Re: rattle from the drivers side
perhaps you left your sunglasses in your side pocket of the door?
haha
naw check this out. go to the dealer and tell them to inspect your front body mounts, mine were crushed and causing my rattling sound. and examine the plastic that is in the wheelwells. i noticed mine was loose and rattling causing cab noise.
