Screw the MPG
I've had it. I've been running some additive that was supposed to increase my MPG but found it to be erratic and in the end, I got less MPG than before.
Instead of all this "I get 15 MPG", "I get blah blah blah MPG", let's see who can get the WORST MPG for one tank of gas.
Fill Up, Reset the avg MPG, and go until the low fuel indicator is on. See how LOW of an MPG you can manage.
I am going to fill up today and see what I can do.
It's gonna be great. No more slowest person at the green light, no more coasting, no more setting the cruise at 60. It's gonna be 80 now!!
I look forward to seeing what we can manage.
And for the greenies out there, go f*ck a tree. I don't care!

Re: Screw the MPG
Screw it, I'll join in on this fun! I'll run the supercharged hummer to your neighbors house and pick up the daughter. By the time I get back to north texas I should have a pretty good idea how ****ty my mileage is with the new charger and with the pedal to the floor for an entire tank of gas.

Re: Screw the MPG
I can barely get below 11 in mine with a whipple and hammering it after ever turn, light or when the song changes on the radio.

Re: Screw the MPG
Well one tank later I managed 8.3 MPG. I did it without a trailer, with at least 50% highway driving (at 90). The key to good (low) MPG is GETTING DIRTY. I even got 'er so stuck that I had to call a buddy of mine to haul the b*tch out. (He drives a Dodge Dualie with a Banks Turbo running about 800 hp).
I still have to bow my head to 3.3.... That is simply amazing!

Is that a typo or gender confusion? Or have you been watching too much of Meadowlands?

You can get it really low by sitting in Park with the engine idling. Mine got down to 7.1mpg after about 10 minutes. I wish I had had more time to see how low it would go.

No, no, no... I'm talking Tire squealing, mud tossing, rock hammering, 160 mph in the city, crazy azz driving... (ok, so the tires don't squeal and it wouldn't do 160 with a jet engine attached, but you get the idea)
