Default sunroof....

is acting up.....
i'll go to close it......it stops halfway and go's back
in order to close it i have to "help" it along

I love it when stuff like that happens. Use to have a Grand Cherokee that the same thing would happen to the windows.

Mine does the same, but I notice it only does it if I turn the car off half way during the close procedure.

If I wait for it to close before turning car off, no problems.

Also, it did happen once while rolling up the windows and sunroof at the same time. Probably some goofy polarity issue

it does it every once in a while....i figured it just needs a lil lube....

ive only had it a week....its an 05 for ****s sake!

Im not sure if this work for Hummers but on my BMW if you hold down the sunroof button for 30 seconds (in close position) it resets it self. Worth a try I guess...... Can you get in the opening to add some grease?

Had mine in 3 weeks ago for the exact same thing. To fix it they took the headliner, cleaned and lubed the tracks.
