Another question to throw out there...
I'm trying to figure out if you'd have to change the locker out for one that accepts a higher ratio gear OR if you're currently forced to get a set of "thick gears" made (maybe some already exist?) to regear an H3.
Is the rear locker in the 10 bolt rear axle an EATON model of the elocker? I could look up the model and see where the carrier gear break is and figure this out if I knew the model rear locker thats in the H3s? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
The differential is a newer variant of the Eaton 10 bolt. It doesn't use legacy gear dimensions. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
So, what about adding a front E locker?

Man that looks great how do you think it would look with 35's ? Do you think there would be too much room in wheel wells with 35's .

On page 6, bottom of the page, (35 Mickey Thompson tires) are pictures of my H3. Lock to lock no rubbing at all. Also go to (find) and type in 35 inch tires and you will see discussion on this subject.
If I remember there is about An inch clearance turning both ways at full lock. I do have the torsion bars cranked about 1 1/2 inchs. They will fit without doing so though.

Also about the front locker... will the half shafts be strong enough for this mod? Also nice winch setup... read up on that winch and they say its submergible... very cool.

I have had 35's on for some time now and don't have any problems with pulling the tires. I did call Rough country to get the scoop on their lift and I was told that the 37's do make the tranny shift a little more than normal due to the size.

That is one sweet-ass lift kit...it's about time we saw a truly functional rig! I personally like it much better with the stock rims...leave the "Bling" for the mall rats. Looks way superior to Rancho's kit. Does anyone have the actual tire size that's on there? I bet some 315/75/16's (35's) would be enough. What do you guys think? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
That is exactly what I have on mine right now and I am going to leave them on when I lift it. I am the guy with the stock height H3 w/ 35s in those pics. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
I sent you a PM.

Personally I would love to see an H3 with the Rough Country lift and 35's...I'm still skeptical about the 37's.

Great pics guys.
Questions/ cocerns.
1st I just want to say it looks great!
1) What parts come with the kit?
2) my concern is the factory rim width of 7.5" and 12.50 wide tire. i though you had to run at least a 8" wide rim to run a 12.50 wide tire. ???
3) What do you use for shocks?
4) How does it ride vs stock?
5) Did those 37's hit the fenderwells or airdam in the front?
6) How did Chirs fit the 35's on his truck without lifting it? How much do they stuff into the fender wells?
