I am swapping my mirrors out with another member. We are swapping the mirror and post attached to the door--has anyone done this?

I do not yet have an H2 manual.

Let me know your approach to mirror removal-Thanks

True, the caps might be able to be swapped. But if one cracks... It is going to be expensive! Since GM only sells the complete mirror, they'd have to buy one.

It's good to give them the info so they know about that option, however.

Why are you trading mirrors? If it is just for the black / chrome change, you can go about it much simpler than removing the entire mirror. A thread with some pictures is here.
