So, I was given a new air compressor for a gift, and after all the "gear" I have acquired, I decided to build a storage unit for it all.

[quote] when i figure a good waterproof one out... will post.[quote]

I have use ext. polyurathane with great results, and use weather stripping around my tops/lids/covers. I also make sure they all have a step style lid to help seal em. I have not had any leak to date, even made a box for my trailer like this.
I dont have a closeup but this is one setup I had 12yrs back.

Just curious as to why use 2X4s & 2X6s when you could of used 3/4" plywood and had a bit more room and less weight? That is unless thats what was at the time. I have made boxes out of even 1/2" ply and had em last 10 yrs in all kinds of weather....Anything to have a spot for your tolls n stuff though in one place.

I bought the decal at one of those "stereo blow out" sales where they were selling all kinds of junk in addition to stereo equipment. They had some good deals on everything, but not the decal. It was still like 10 or 12 bucks.

It is a GOBI stealth rack!

It's actually 2x8, and it was what I had around. I only had enough plywood to do the bottom.

hole in bottom to accomodate bolt sticking up. This should prevent it from sliding back and forth when the seats are down.
