SUT tonneau
Honest, I've searched the threads on this and the "other" forum for an answer to this question. How useful is the tonneau? How hard to install? Most importantly, how hard to remove? I've found a relatively good deal on one at the following link. http://www.hummerpartspeople.com/car...3A18%3A11 +AM
If I get any kind of positive response I'll probably buy. I am aware that it does compromise the usefulness of the bed. SUT owners, any problems or gripes? You don't see them on the used market,
Thanks all.

Re: SUT tonneau
I find it very useful. It keeps things dry and secure. I comes off easily by removing 3 bolts and loosening 3 others. I had mine off once and it took only about 5-10 minutes.

Re: SUT tonneau
Do you think wing nuts might work to speed things up?

Re: SUT tonneau
That cover was nice for securing items from eveyone's eyes. If installed properly, it stays dry in there and will lock. You could also add a rack to it to haul taller items or for more room.

Wing nuts will not allow the top to close.

Re: SUT tonneau
Well, the wing nuts were an idea. I don't have it, yet, so I can't really look at it, BTW, those racks REALLY look nice! Thanks for the info.
