Is there any drilling required for the gm rock rails?

Not as far as I know. I dont think you have to drill for the rocky road rails either. Maybe check those out too, they are reasonbly priced and I read on here that the factory slider are a joke.

Where'd you read that. It is false! I've chrashed down on them with the entire weight of the H3 and they didn't bend in the slightests. And they use (4) point attatchment while Rock Road uses 3. I think you ment that the manik ones are a joke.

and there is no drilling required. However, 2 of the holes are sometimes covered by the lable of the frame.

I stand corrected, I did mean the manik ones. I read about those getting smashed up into the door panels. Can you post some pics of the factory ones, or the ones you are referring too. I am ordering some this week, and was going the RR route, but yours sound convincing. Thanks for the clarification.
