I HAD THE RANCHO 4IN LIFT PUT ON MY H2 AND I FEEL HEIGHT IS PERFECT! THE RANCHO KIT IS GREAT. I HAVE 37IN INCH MICH TIRES ON MY H2 WHICH I FEEL IS JUST RIGHT TIRE FOR THE LIFT. MY H2 DOESN'T FEEL TOP HEAVY AND HANDLES GREAT OFFROAD.

Nice rig, no doubt. What's your actual ground clearance, though? And do you know what the max tire size is with your lift? Enjoy...

Angelo:

That is one sweet looking ride! The black-out of the grill and addition of black steelies lends to a Special Ops look.

Angelo, Thanks. I guess I passed up my opportunity to change out my gears a few months ago. We were out 4x4ing with our local Toyota club and we blew apart the front diff, trashed the transfer case and blew parts out the rear diff. All covered by warrenty, thank goodness. I'll put gears down as a future upgrade. How does changing out the gears affect the locker, if at all? I would love to dump our funds into more HP for the H2, but our race rig takes all our spare change for speed and power and maintenance (rolled it last month and rebuilding it now).

You can never have enough horsepower! Yellow LUX, Airforce intake, stainless headers and exhaust, Gobi rack and ladder, roof mounted off road lights, full wrap brush guard, rear light guards, outside tire carrier, Rancho 4" suspension lift, Ultra "EN4CER" 17x9 wheels, Goodyear 37/12.50R17 MT/R tires, removed side-step bars, 9.5ti warn multi-mount winch.

Add a Gobi rack to this, and it'll be perfect!

I HAD SENT MY H2 TO LOCAL BODY SHOP AND HAD THEM BLACK OUT ALL THE CHROME EXCEPT FOR DOOR HANDLES BECAUSE THEY FELT THE PAINT WOULDN'T HOLD UP ON DOOR HANDLES BECAUSE OF ALL THE USE.
IT WAS NO BIG DEAL THE BODY SHOP HAD MY H2 FOR ONE DAY AND IT TURNED OUT GREAT. THE 37IN MICHELLIN TIRES I HAVE ARE MADE IN EUROPE FOR THE MERCEDES UNIMOG. I CHOSE THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE ONLY AROUND 10IN WIDE, AND THEY ARE ELOAD RATED, 8/PLY, STEEL BELTED RADIALS. I HAVEN'T TRIED 38IN SWAMPERS BUT I CAN TELL YOU THEY WOULD EASILY FIT. THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENTS.

ANGELO

Wow, that looks great!!! I really dig the all blacked out look. Looks like some sort of Special Forces vehicle.

How do you like those tires? I've never seen them before.

Looks like you might have room for a set of 38" Swampers. Did you consider going with a tire like that?

TONKA H2, I DON'T HAVE MY H2 AT WORK WITH ME TODAY SO I CANT MEASURE GROUND CLEARANCE TODAY.
I WOULD SAY I HAVE INCREASED MY TOTAL GROUND CLEARANCE AROUND 2IN, MOSTLY FROM 37IN TIRES.
I'M NOT SURE HOW BIG I COULD GO ON THE TIRES, I KNOW I COULD GO ATLEAST 1/SIZE BIGGER.
I DON'T THINK I WOULD WANT TO GO ANY BIGGER THOUGH BECAUSE OF HP POWER DRAIN AND THE GEARING WOULD BE TO HIGH.
