The dealer has the price. It used to be a percentage but that has been changed a while back. Mid sized used to be 18% off base price and 18% off options, and nothing off destination charges. I don't know about dealer installed options if any off these.

How much different would the employee discount be over a supplier discount?

The car will have to be titled in the state you live in. The sales tax, registration, title, would be in FL. The only fees added (if you're financing) would be the vehicle inventory tax (not very much, under 100 probably--don't quote me) a Document and Deputy Fee (55 bucks, we have a title office that would do the registration for you)...the only downside is that most likely you'd have to actually come out and sign the paperwork. Most banks require this. So really, you're looking at about 150 dollars, plus your Florida tax, title, license, and a trip to beautiful Dallas. Its all kind of confusing, but no, you do not need to have a drivers license in the state of purchase.

Just a dumb question. Can I purchase or lease from another state if I'm in Florida? Would I get killed by taxes or anything like that? I heard someone saying you needed a driver license for the state you buy in. How about tag and title?

Thanks

If you want to talk with one of our finance experts, I can put you in touch...It all depends on how long the lease is for, how many miles, what you'd put down, a trade (if any), etc...

I called 30 dealers in the Southwest and Beyond. The only ones I found that were willing were SEWELL in Dallas Tx (Ordered mine from therr they are by far the nicest, and most professional - LYNCH was REDICULOUS), Orr Hummer in Louisiana, and Lynch Hummer in Missouri.

I called most of the dealers in CA, AZ, NM, NV,TX UT, CO and a couple others...

I really don't think so, I'd expect some incentives by the end of the year... I've heard of people getting $500 - $1000 off MSRP already... haven't found out where though...

Hi Brian-

Can I ask what percentage you are using for the Supplier Discount? I have access to it but it has not been listed on the GM Supplier Site yet.

Thanks,

"GM will announce Wednesday that it will offer all buyers the same discount that employees get, giving consumers nationwide thousands of dollars off the price of every 2005 car or truck except the Chevrolet Corvette"

I don't think they would give you the discount for the 2006 H3, I'm happy if I get MSRP as most of the dealers are charging 2k-5k over MSRP, which btw SUCKS!

My family wont get an H3 until the end of the year, therefor the Slate Blue Mettalic and Superior Blue Mettalic should be available, also DVD Nav. and side impact airbags are going to be available. But the thing is if sales are doing well then will they increase the price?

That is what I was thinking. Since I just got mine last week, I was worried I could have gotten a better deal. Although I got my 05 LUX at supplier pricing. But an extra $1500 off would have been nice.
