Well, I guess I can't wait any longer. I know with the holidays upon us that most of you won't respond till next year. Well, maybe Steve will.

It is my understanding that several of us are interested in going to/through Moab this March to do some off road driving. I believe there is a great interest in the White Rim Road:

http://www.utahtrails.com/WtRimRoad.html

http://www.rockymountainscenery.com/log/whiterim.html

http://www.utahtrails.com/WhiteRimOver.html

http://www.earthroamer.com/galleries...m/crw_4534.htm

http://www.go-utah.com/DIPphotoDispl...B32CA6&first=1

I understand that it is a fairly easy trail but long. It will require at least 1 night of camping along the trail.

I think we may very well run another trail or two around Moab as well. I assume the usual applies; Gonzo, Moab Brewrey, etc.

So anyway, go ahead and express some interest if you have any, we'll eventually go to a private thread and plan dates and locations, etc.

Happy Holidays!

Just as long as everyone realizes that Day 3 is NOT Beginner friendly, and may result in dents and dings (as well as winching...for me at least). Hopefully I wont break down on the first day this time. Can't wait.

We all have done Moab in stock H2 form without mods. After the burban, I'm sure you will have no problems, unless you are "testing" out nre rock sliders.
Maybe some lights is all you would need, and that's only if we are doing that 2 day trail or a night run.
37" tires helped for a little more room on the underside, but your tires will be just fine! they wer fine for me on my first two trips there.

Someone should let Alan know, and I'm a little surprised at the Fox clan. We'd even let Jason drive his toe-rag if he wanted. Wouldn't we?

Hey Adam, I coming out of H2 thread retirement.....

I am interested in a 3rd trip!! However, that is a bitch of a time for me to get time away from work. I want in on the private thread for sure.

Have you talked to Paul & Sandra?

Lisa and I have been planning all along to go back (like we talked about last fall), but I didn't expect it to be that early. I will still try to make it though. Not sure if I want to bring Hope since I DO want to go along White Rim. I am out if the weekend is the first or second weekend in April because we are going back to Hawaii at that time.

Dennis,
Will you have a present for me if I come?

I do hope I can make it, barring any unexpected Bahmitzvahs.

I saw some of you guys on this post are in Colorado. We're doing a trail this Sunday, Jan 9th (meet at 8 am at I-70 exit 259 Morrison Rd. Exit - see post on this forum a few lines below this one). So far there are five H1's & only one H2 planning on going. It would be great to have some more H2's if you can come. Should be fun playing in the snow up I-70 near Idaho Springs/Empire.

E-mail me at geneseemtn@hotmail.com with any questions or to RSVP. <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Since I bought my new Nav system, Garmin Street Pilot, I haven't been able to go boondocking with that good old-fashioned gut wrenching feeling of "where the heck am I and, Do I even know where I'm going?" I'd love to go with other Hummer owners instead of going with the locals in their Dune Buggies. I love my air conditioning too much!! P.S. I only camp at the Ritz though. (he-he) <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

GREAT! Another Oregon person.
Just messin. We will be posting a private post at the end of the month with optional dates. this way no psychosor luriking tree huggers show up.

Woogy: hang in there. you'll almost have a month and half or two months notice to give your company that you will be MIA taking the best vacation of your life. <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Thanks for the Oregon joke, but I need to set the record straight, I'm from eastern Idaho, and I do most of my wheeling over there. I only reside in Oregon because of poor judgement on my part. Besides,I moved here because I heard the only buzz worth catchin in Colorado is a Rocky Mtn "high".

I think Moab sounds Great!! I've never been there.

May I respectfully request that private thread messages of this exciting upcoming ultimate off-roading trip exclude all references to size of particular member's private part (in the cold or otherwise), discussions of male love, kissing cousins, and/or the lusty behaviors of various members' dogs?... Much obliged.

You heard him, people. No comments about the fact that Dennis has an unusually small penis. Got it? We do NOT want to hear about Dennis' shortcomings. No discussing the near-invisible member that barely protrudes from Dennis' body. Is everyone clear on this? We do not wish to hear any further stories about Alec and Jason walking in on a naked Dennis and his frightened little turtle. Okay?
