So, it has been a month now that my truck has been in the shop. To make matters worse, I received in the mail, "Come join Pflueger-Hummer and other Oahu Hummer owners for a day of mudding." Couldn't go ain't got no hummer. Should have taken the rental they provided out there and showed them how to do it 2 wheel drive style. F*******CKERS.

Don't know what state you reside but in california, it's a lemon if it's in the shop for more than 30 days within 12 months.

They did say last Wednesday at the latest didn't they? Bastards.

If you're being paid to estimate, it will be wrong. If you're not being paid, it'll still be wrong.

I personally think that they probably stuck the transmission on the boat with the next shipment of hummers coming out this way. If that is the case there is no way of telling actually how long it may take to get out here. I am going to call and talk with the service manager down at the dealer this morning. It is time to stop being patient. I really do not blame the dealer unless they did not order the tranny like they said. I blame GMHQ for sending the tranny out the slowest way possible.

Supposedly when they check their system to see the order status all it says is that it is in "transit". There is no way of them knowing exactly where it is "SUPPOSEDLY". Also, my SA has said that he has my truck sitting in a stall all prepped and ready for the new one to come in. So when it comes in all they have to do is slap it up and bolt it down. That is funny because my truck has been sitting in the same spot for the last 3 weeks which is no where near a stall. AND THE SAGA continues in the new soap opera "As the Hummer turnsover but does not Move."

I'm in Southern California, it was the end of my warranty when the head was replaced
I took it in right before xmas and there were delays on shipping for the holidays. The first head was damaged so they sent out for another one. Now its fixed.

ITS BACK. They called yesterday afternoon to let me know that they had finally got it fixed but I wasn't able to get out of work until 700 and then had to drive through Honolulu traffic. It was 830 at night by the time I got to the dealership.

Don't care though cause now the wife has her truck back and she is happy again. Which in turn makes me happy!

That's BS for a month wait for a trans.

I had three days of downtime and they air freighted the trans to the dealer to get this job done.

That sucks. What wrong with your truck that is so servious it warrents being in the shop for a month? I'd tell that to get their asses in gear and have back within a week or your calling HUMMER's corporate office about the problem.
