You may be able to extend the axle vent lines and the vent from the trans.
Sometimes the trans is vented on the top and a fitting and longer tubing could be added to that.
On my Jeep, the front axle vent is about as high as the top of the radiator and the rear axle vent goes up inside the rear inner fender well or frame.

I don't know that they are right at 24 inches, but I wouldn't push that limit if I could help it...You'll probably end up with more than just tranny problems. When I used to off-road, the first thing I saw in H1s go was the electronics...trannys went bad from non-water off-road abuse..in H2s the water fording was very close, and the check engine light would come on sometimes, but it would typically dry out overnight..

The axle and tranny are vented, but they're raised.(somewhere above or around the 24 inches max water fording)...

Not that I plan on it but if I understand correctly, if I end up going deeper than 24" there could be tranny problems in my future?
