A small piece of weatherstripping (approx 6 inches)around the rear marker lights (on roof) on my SUT keeps coming loose. Is this a problem anyone has had and do you have any suggestions to repair.

The stripping between my rear signal and bumper keeps comming loose. I'll try putting a dab of RTV silicone this weekend.
Mabye the same will work for you.

Weather stripping generally has a u - shaped wire scrim buried in it. That's what holds it in place on the sheet metzl's edge. In the areas where it's looose, try pinching it together with plyers and then reinstalling it. This usually hepls and obviates the need for adhesives.

I'm pretty sure that's the major cause of this issue...no wire.
