Thanks, an intro, and my 2006 H2.
Hi everyone,
I've been lurking around here for almost two months now, and I just wanted to thank all of you for posting so much useful information and great pix. It really helped with my decision to buy my 2006 H2 Lux two weeks ago.
I've added a few things to it in the past two weeks, like the matching spare cover, some smoked vent shades, smoked bug deflector, hide-a-hitch with extension, cargo liner, locking gas cap door, jack bag, shorter antenna, a back-up cam wired into the nav screen, etc., and I've got a few more items on the way.
This was the only Desert Sand Metallic on the lot (which was the only color we wanted) and it had almost everything else that my wife and I were looking for,....except for the chrome. I'll be replacing the chrome tube steps with black Sidewinder retractables, and getting the grill Line-X'd soon. I'm also looking into getting the wheels powdercoated semi-gloss black.
Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for the H2 enlightenment and show a few pix of my new rig.
All the best,
Eric

Those words are beautiful.
I like the desert sand - nice choice. Can't wait to see the line-x with that color.
