I posted pics of the dual optimas in the "my pics of my h2" section under the title little bling, little schwing, little zing (err or something stupid like that, lol). I can take pics of the Viz setup if you like, I just didn't as I figured most had seen them before. The kit does not have a modulator that is hard wired into the antenna, rather, it uses a built in fm transmitter that works pretty well IF you get the supplied wire close to the radio. Everything you need for install is included, and about the only semi hard part is disassembling the center console to mount the control unit and fish the din cords from each headrest (2 cables per headrest). Prettty easy install actually. Viz will not drop ship, but for an extra $20, they will overnight to me and then i can turn them right around to you with the shipping speed of your choice (prefer FEdEx). I cannot post a public price, but each A1000 kit would be $50 less than the price you posted earlier (plus your actual shipping charges) and that would include a 3 year warranty. I will enclose a copy of Vizualogic's install instructions specifially for the H2 in every kit (pretty well laid out and easy to follow). I will also provide you with our shop info in case you need more assistance installing/operating them. The ebony cloth is in stock.

Is the small plug itself white with a black cable, or is the cable white as well? How many pins on that small white plug--should be 10 and the plug should be flat with one row of pins.

I have removed the item as I beleive it should not even be viewed by the public, I do understand your concern. It was posted for a local law enforcment agency so they could look it over. I will only sell items like this to law enforcement agency’s and such that are authorized to use such an item. I also must receive documentation from that agency to back it up. I also have disclaimers with the listings for items like this. My lively hood and reputation is not worth any amount of money. BIG-C

I need the dual player set in ebony cloth send me an email with your rock bottom price.

I want to be able to play 2 different dvd's at once for the kids....if this is done and 1 dvd is transmitting through the fm to the cars speakers the only other option for the other dvd is the headphones? do the monitors have speakers in them or no? we will need a Y adapter also right?

basically is there any way to get audio in the car for the 2 players simultaneously?

set me straight on the details bro.wiring play options...these have onscren control also right and 2 remotes come with them also?

no modulator? it comes with an fm transmitter?

so the sound gets received through the antenna on the head?

please explain?

could you give us the install procedure? what wires come with the head rests what neds to be hooked up to what and where? It would be nice to finally get the play by pplay so we know what we are dealing with for the do it yourself install.

Thanks kodiakz

No player for that price?? dude that is way high.

The non player monitor only headrests should be 800.00

The cheapest I have found for the dual players is from Trail Duty 1395.00

the ir headphones are 45 for the pair.

there is a guy on ebay selling the vizualogics 1 dvd in the set and 1 passive monitor for 1250.00

trail duty has the single dvd set for 1295.
so unless they were getting over 200 for the install they were jacking you...

the install is simple install the rf adapter between th stock head and antenna. this get the signal audio out from the dvd to your stock system so it will play through the car.
pop your old headrests out pop the new ones in get power and ground to the units (real easy and your done..

Nice web site, circuitguy...but I do have to question your offering of the traffic light changer...its just a matter of time before the family of someone who gets t-boned hires a lawyer and fires off lawsuits against the owner, manufacturer, retailer, etc...do you really think this item is a good idea???

Sounds good I have an (((((H3))))) though not an H2 what do you mean by removig the console and fishing the wires in ......in what to where? the console controls the head rests does it have to be mounted in the center console? probably the only best place, perhaps under it? there is an antenna off the console? placing it near the head makes the fm reciever work better?

can you describe the install in more detail? sorry for so many ?'s

Thanks for all the help man much appreciated.

Tell me how the wires run from the head rets doen the seat what needs to be done here.

what is the best eay to get power and ground to the console?

For what it is worth, I just had two of these installed:

Two 7" monitors each with their own DVD players (so you can watch something different on eiter side)
In replacement ebony leather headrests
with two sets of wireless headphones
with power converter and Xbox power pigtail located under the seat. Just plug in the box to power and your rca cord and you are ready to go

$1800.00 installed.

(They are in my wife's new Denali Envoy)

How is the quality of the picture on these Monitors? Can you see the picture from the middle seat? I have seen a lot of monitors that unless you are sitting right in front of the screen you can't see the picture.

The install is easy! Each ((((((H3))))))) lol headrest has one cable coming out of each of the 2 tubes. Run these wires from both headrests to the control box (actually you can easily mount this under on of the seats). So you have 4 small cables to route to the control box (small unit 1" thick, 3" wide x 5" long). The antenna 'wire' is just that--a small wire that you route from the control box to the antenna on the radio (or as close as you can get--the closer the better and it can be extended with any normal wire). Then just grab a 12v constant, 12v switched, and a ground (constant and ground can be tapped under the seat if they are power). Stub out the aux input cables (6" pigtail off control box) and you are done!! The unit transmits on fm and the extension wire carries that signal so the closer the extension wire to the actual antenna wire the better (best is to extend it to the radio and wrap it around the antenna right up to the radio). The nice thing about the transmitter is that you have several different choices of fm frequencies to choose from whereas a wired modulator has only 1. The bottoms of the seats come undone so you can bring out your 2 cables there and follow the other cables routing down under the seat. The headrests are only controlled from the remote pointed at one or the other---short of installing an infrared repeater system, there is no way to control them from the front. Therefore, if you have small kids, you can set the passenger headrest to be the selected source on both and then you or mom can reach accross and change the dvd in that unit fairly easily even while moving; probably couldn't do that on the one in the driver headrest unless there was a front passenger to do so. I have other finishes of the A1000 in stock if you have not seen an actual unit and would like to do so
