Question Rim edges are chipping?!

At first i thought the edges of the rim things had dirt or something, but when i tried to wash it off it wouldnt come off.
It looks like the edges have chipped off but when i run my finger over the spots it feels smooth.
Is it possible that the edges can be corroding "underneath the surface" or something?! cauze they feel smooth. I have no idea what is going on.
Is this happening to someone else? If yea, has anyone had dealer replace? I dont offroad, just city/highway driving.
Please help, cause this is freaking me out! Thanks!

heres some pics:

i have more pics, if you want ill post the rest.

Looks like your clear coat might be chipping off, or possible exposure to some kind of road chem that is stripping it off!

As long as it's still under warranty, the dealer should replace them!
IMO

That sucks! Have the dealer replace them under warranty.
