Default tire pressure monitoring system

so i got a nail in the tire and it said low tire so i changed it out with the spare, and planned on taking it too a tire place so they coould fix it, but now its saying "serv tpm". i assume tpm is tire pressure monitoring, so do i take it to the dealer? or when i fix the original tire and put it back will it go away?

When you put the original tire back on it should go away.

You have to reset the TPM, check your manual.

What they said. Either reprogram the TPM to recognize the new sensor (spare) or just wait until you put the other tire back on.

Mine's been like that for about a month. Maybe one of these days I'll get my tire fixed.
