I was in a doctors office reading a MotorTrend long term test on a Porsche Cayenne and came across the accessories they had gotten for it. One of the things was this terrapass.
It works like this. You buy the appropriate pass for your truck and they guarantee that that amount is invested in clean energy. So you get your Hummer, the environment is cleaned, and the Eco Terrorists (Sierra Club, Green Peace, etc) get a big fat pfffffpt in the face when they give you a hard time! Win/Win situation
Okay, so maybe not the best thing since sliced bread, but not a bad thing at all. What do you think?

You should get a Standard TerraPass.
A Standard TerraPass offsets 12,000 lbs of CO2,
enough to balance one year of your driving.
Emissions report
Vehicle – 2005 Hummer H2 SUT automatic transmission
Mileage – 13 mpg (city), 13 mpg (highway)
Fuel use – 462 gallons per year
Emissions – 9,039 lbs CO2 per year
Standard TerraPass
12,000 lbs CO2 offset
Add to cart
$49.95 for 1 year
only $0.14 per day!
includes tax & shipping
( I still don't know how to post a screen- don't bother telling me again- I don't care.)
