Default OUCH! GM sales plummet 21%

GM sales plummet 21%

Big Three automakers continue to lose ground to imports as all U.S. car makers report lower sales, and most overseas automakers post strong gains.

Yea I saw that. And Toyota seems willing to "buy" market share (discounting and cutting margins) on it's trucks which just adds to their market share growth.

What about Hummer's earnings? Last I knew, I thought they were doing pretty good...

Hummer earnings are not disclosed separately. But I'd like to see the sales statistics (units) too.

Maybe the V8 in the H3 will help boost sales too?

Toyota is offering 0% on the new Tundra so they must not be selling as well as the hoped for or are doing to sway fullsize buyers to Tundra?

Jeep can't build the 4-door JK Wranglers fast enough and now they are having a big recall for stalling.

"In a sign of Toyota's new-found muscle, the Japanese automaker rattled Detroit by offering zero-percent financing and cash rebates on its all-new Tundra pickup truck in June.
That aggressive discounting caused sales of Toyota's new full-size truck to more than double in June, stealing share in the last U.S. market segment dominated by the Detroit Three."

Looks like Tundra sales were boosted by the incentives.
