Re: New Blue Line-X
That's the bomb! If I may ask, how much $ did it set you back. I seriously want to have my fenders done. After only a few weeks after buying my H3, the rear fenders already had some chips from driving on gravel roads. I installed mud flaps for highway driving, but I think the Line-X is a far better solution.

With the help and direction of Hummbebe, H2 Bully and I took off the fenders and then drove them to the Line-X shop. It was $250 out the door.

I just came from my local Line-X shop. The owner has never done fenders before, but he has done rocker panels. Can you belive that he wants $750-850 for the job?!? He says that it would be $250 just for the paint to match my boulder gray H3. He would like the info for the shop that did Bully's so I will forward that to him. Maybe he will tell him that he is way out of line with his estimate. I asked about getting the grille done Line-X black, but he said he couldn't do it, which I know is bull, 'cause I've seen plenty of others in this forum with the blacked-out grille. Should I try another Line-X dealer?

Re: New Blue Line-X
If there's another dealer in your area that does the color-match, then tell this guy to . They charge by the "click" so ask how many he thinks it would take. If Bully has his receipt it should say on there how many it took. And if they don't think it can be done, show them the pictures from on here. When I got my grill done, they said the same thing until I explained I'd seen it done at least a half dozen times. If they wrap the coating around the backside of the grill it will stick just fine.

Re: New Blue Line-X
Looks good! The color match is perfect. I think going with a darker blue would be cool too.
I wonder how it looks when blue peels off.
