Default Sut vs Suv? What are your preferences?

I would like to hear some opinions on which you like more. I prefer the look of the SUV's exterior. But I like the more enclosed room of the Suv. After seeing Albie's Sut I now see how cool they can look. I really like the looks of his ride and have not seen a Suv look that nice. What are your preferrences and why?

I prefer the look of the SUT. The only reason I got an SUV is because I needed the enclosed space. As much as I love the look of the SUT, I need my enclosed trunk. I wouldn't have been able to get my subwoofers because they couldn't sit outside in the SUT bed. Not to mention I live in FL and vacation in the mountains of NC, so sudden unexpected rain showers are a possibility in FL and I wouldn't want groceries and such getting soaked. And in the snow up here in NC it's nice to have the enclosed space to keep stuff warm. I think to be happy I would need 2 vehicles, one would have to be an enclosed SUV (not necessarily an H2 though that would be nice) for warmth and protection from precipitation, and one would be an SUT that I could mod and try to make look as good as Albie's.

SUT looks cooler, SUV is more practical.

I didn't select the H2 for its practicality.

I only have 2 kids, which would fit fine. This will not be my daily driver. It will be my play vehicle, much like my Jeep. My boys would fit in a SUT much easier than my Jeep. The wife hates my boys being in the Jeep anyway. I really like the looks of the SUT better. Which is odd, when they first came out I thought they were ugly. Now they have grown on me. My neighbor has one, I think there are only 3 Hummers in town. Thanks for all your opinions.

This is one sweet looking SUT, but I've got to say if you're carrying around a bunch of guns and call-out gear on occasion, you have to go with the SUV. That photo did make me want to put black wheels on my desert sand SUV!

Talking Re: Sut vs Suv? What are your preferences?

SUT all the way! Go test drive one on a nice day with all the windows down (including the back, no other vehicle gives you that) and the top open and you will be sold. I have the bed cover and it snows and rains all the time and I never have a problem with things getting wet. Also, if you are a neat freak/clean freak like me, you never have to worry about messing up the inside when you need to haul or carry sh*t. Besides the SUT looks better and you don't see 30 of them a day driving down the street.

I like the looks of both the SUT and the SUV.
If you wanted something different i would say
to get the SUT since it seem there are less of
them in number.
I guess it would be a matter of taste of why
one over the other.
In the fantasy world I could have both.
With the 99% of the parts the same you
can add to them both almost the same.

It really depends if your not going to be throwing stuff in the trunk often and what not, and dont need to to just toss something back the SUT is for you. If not go with the SUV, also if you have kids or feel the need for that third row then you need to grab the SUV. Personally me i prefer the SUV for the looks and i like having that ability to just be able to toss something into the back, plus all my wakeboard equipment would not fit in an SUT, I also feel that an SUT looks funny becuase the bed is short unless you do it up like most of the people on the site. Non the less both look awsome, and you cant go wrong it truly is a matter of personal preference and if you need that trunk space or not.

Get an SUT with a slantback bed cover. Then you get the best of both worlds!
