Opinions on replacement H3 consideration
My H3 may not be up to snuff when it comes out of the shop. Pending how it drives thinking of trading my 06 for a new. Whats the word on the Alpha v8 verses the 3.7.
Truth be told for me the 3.5 did the trick for my need. Was getting from 16 to 18 MPG and for a Auto not too shabby!
Interested in 07 and 08 owners thougts...

Re: Opinions on replacement H3 consideration
love it im getting about 14-16 mpg city, hwy i usually get somewhere around 17-18. I've driven a few "06's and i can notice the power difference, its not a large one but 22 hp and 22 more lb/ft of torque on a car this heavy makes a big difference

3H,
Thanks for that reply. Do you have any intake or exhaust mods? Sounds like you are doing good!

Re: Opinions on replacement H3 consideration
no intake or exhaust mods sadly , on a tight budget since its my first car and everythings gotta pass by my parents before i do it, all the stuff ive got is listed in my signiture. Come my birthday next month im gonna be size up to 33" tires and then i think my gas mileage will probably go down a tiny bit. I try to use cruise control as much as possible to try to get the best gas mileage as possible.

Re: Opinions on replacement H3 consideration
I have a new '08 Base Lux Model with the 3.7L. It suits me fine. I am getting 17 mpg driving to and from work (80% freeway).
Besides the engine, there are a number of improvements over the '06 and several over the '07.
