Default difficulty installing a light bar

How hard is it to install a light bar without the wiring harness that came with it? Is it basically 2 wires with an on and off switch?

I found a used one for sale but it doesnt come with the harness.

Thanks!

Hi

I bought one just like it, it's really no problem.

One mine there where 3 wires 2 positive and one ground.

One positive for the 2 inner lights on the light bar, and another for the 2 outer lights.

I just wired these 2 positive together with a single one using a bigger gauge (hope this is spelled right).

And then I put a reley on it with a on/off switch.

The biggest problem was to get the big gauge positive all the way out to the battery.

Best regards
Rene

If you have the factory harness, it's plug and play.
All you have to do is drill a hole for the switch in the overhead console.
The part number for the kit (including the lights) is 89006865.

I bet some savy parts man could come up with the component part numbers.

Thanks, so the wiring isnt too complicated

How do you connect the wiring, you dont drill a hole in the roof?

If you get the factory harness, the wiring is already through the gromet, like Vettester said, plug & play.

Called 3 dealers today, no one carried it. Talked to a few members here and they said it wasnt worth the trouble.
Decided to go with a custom one or possibly the Delta.
