Just wondering from h2 owners how much does it take to fill up your hummer. I am thinking of getting one and althought gas price is not important to me I just wanted to know if I will be paying $100 everytime i fill up. And is it true that fuel economy is aobut the same as expeditions, yukons etc.
Thanks

How much ?
I have a 05 H2 and it's getting 12.4 MPG. Gas was $2.19 a gallon the other day and the pump stopped at $50.00. It was close to "E"mpty and the $50 didn't cover it. I could of re-inserted the card for another 5-10 dollars of gas but..
The H2 sucks gas hard.... But that's the price you pay.

I am very much old enough paragon to do the math. I simply wanted a number from a actual owner. Actually my job intails me to calculate all day. Sorry as you can see on the very next post before i saw his response i had calculated how much it cost. I did not ask you to answer my question I asked the nice guy who responeded first. You actually can stay out of my post as far as i am concerned if you have nothing positive to add to it. Get that stick out of you ass guy.

Was there really a need for this line of questions. Are you sure you are old enough to buy an H2 if you are not old enough to see how many gallons the H2 will hold and multiply that number by whatever freaking price of gas you want.
I paid $1.48 per gallon last week and paid $1.89 today. So what exactly is the point to, first, even needing to know how much it costs to fill up, and secondly, asking someone to do simple math for you. You know, a few weeks ago it only cost me $9.50 and my needle was sit nice and sweet on F.

I have generalized questions about all of the vechicles that I have brought in the past and got them answered before making my decison.
And as for you paragon I believe your posts and imporper use of sarcasism shows you education level. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>My, my, my. Your last post seems to be an enigma. CMAX, come chat with us in the H3 forum. Us "wee people" would be delighted to discuss a hopefully less expensive and perhaps equally competent ride.

</div></BLOCKQUOTE>You used the "rolleyes" so I was as serious as you.
On the other hand, about the same as the Expedition, Suburban, big Mercedez, 7 series BMW, Excursion, etc.
Average fill-up for me is about 27 gallons.

I don't know why you guys are being so tough on the NEWB. You bastards! none of you have even bothered to share your gas milage numbers with the 4 cyl. H2.
Crystal, us 4 cyl. H2 owners are getting close to 24 mpg on the highway. the diesel H2's get only about 8 mpg, and polute the environment worse than those VW Hippie buses that burn more oil than the anyting on the planet. If you plan on getting a H2, be aware that all of those liberal, tree huging, bra burning lesbians will want to trash your truck with you in it. good luck.
