Guys,
When I had my SUV the rear tail light configuration was :
Red (for brakes and tail lights)
Orange (for turn indicators)
White (For reversing)
But on the SUT's I've seen (which I'm thinking of buying) the configuration is
Red (tail lights)
Red (turn indicators)
White (reversing)
Is that right or am I mistaken?
If it is the case - can the SUV lights be fitted to the SUT ?? - Just becasue to be legal here in England the turn/signal lights need to be Orange!
Thanks!

Nope, something is different, SUT's have their own part numbers.

The SUT tailights are taller. That's why the part numbers are different and that's why the SUV and SUT tail lamp guards are different.

I'm making an assumption here, but since it is a requirement in the UK, check with the authorized Hummer dealer. I'm sure AMG/GM have export part numbers for the amber lens model, they just are not in my U.S. catalogs.

Export vehicles get the amber turn signal lens, U.S. vehicles get red. It has to do with emergency vehicle, D.O.T. B/S.

Guys,
Thanks - actually thinking about it I saw an SUV on the Highway in California last week with all red lenses.
Can the earlier lens units (with the orange/amber turn signals) be purchased ?- I'm guessing so - and will the SUV version fit an SUT??? Or was the SUT ever made with Orange/Amber turn signals??
Thanks

They changed to red SUV turn signals in '05 to match the SUT that first came out that same year.

GMPartsGuy,
Whilst there is a dealer in the UK I don' think the H2 is "officially" imported so I doubt there is an alternative part number. The European dealers are probably using some sort of "get-around" like switching the wiring and putting yellow bulbs in the reversing lenses or something.
Just a shame the 03 SUV lenses don't fit. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
